One of the most elaborate water parks in the UAE, Yas Waterworld is located in the entertainment destination of Abu Dhabi — Yas Island. Cool off or get soaked in one of the 45 rides or slides as you follow the Emirati cartoon character Dana on her quest for a magical pearl.
Not only is this place one to enjoy some of the best water slides and rides in the region, it also takes you inside the magic land of a popular local fairytale. You feel as though you are a part of this lovely story with each of the rides themed and connected in some way with Dana’s quest for the pearl. With four thrill levels, there are rides for the fearful as well as the fearless. Top draws include the Bandit Bomber roller coaster with water and laser effects; a hair-raising slide called Liwa Loop; and Dawwama, a wild tornado ride through a 20m-high funnel that takes a gravity-defying 1Y2 minutes.
